Programs
JFS groups are a wonderful way to connect: to not feel isolated and to be with people who understand
what you are going through. Most of our groups and wellness programs have a Jewish component utilizing
our ancient wisdom texts and healing practices. They are conducted in a confidential, safe, Jewish environment.
Participants have a chance to gain more control over their lives, learn new coping strategies, access
community resources and begin to find new solutions to problems. In the world of social media when everything
is done on Facebook or Twitter, it is nice to actually be together with others in live time!
The groups are all run by trained JFS social workers, counselors, chaplains, and school psychologists
with much experience in group work except where indicated, there will be a guest presenter.
