We began in 1922 to provide professional social work to the community.

Over 80 years later, we are still providing quality social services to residents throughout the state. Today the State of Connecticut licenses us in the following areas:

	Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic for Children
	Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic for Adults

The purpose of Jewish Family Service is to preserve and strengthen the quality of life of individuals and families in our community in accordance with Jewish values. A broad array of high quality services are provided in a compassionate, professional and cost effective environment of excellence.
JFS is also accredited with the Council on Accreditation (COA) in the following areas:
