Couple Bonds with Ethiopians in Israel - When Barbara and Harvey Paris went on the Bridgeport Community Mission to Israel in February 2004, they and the other mission participants spent a little more than an hour at the Merchavia Ethiopian Absorption Center in the Afula-Gilboa region of Israel.

But although it was brief, those few hours spent with new Israelis from Ethiopia struck a chord with the couple.
